Denver Gaels Mens Football

Team History – Started in 1996, we were the founding team of the Denver Gaels. In 2000, we won our first National Championship in the Junior B division. With the game growing ever stronger in America we have worked hard to get back to glory. In the past two years we have won the Midwest Gaelic Games and taken the shield at Jr. C Nationals.

How to Play With Us – Throughout the summer and fall we hold weekly practices to hone our skills. We also run a local pub league on Friday evenings in the Summer at Infinity Park (complete schedule). We welcome newcomers to join us year round, no experience necessary. Contact Adam for more information.

Club Football Team – During the summer our club football team competes against other American clubs at the Junior C level. Our season culminates with a trip to the North American Championships on Labor Day weekend.

What is Gaelic Football? Gaelic Football is a fast paced team sport that combines the physicality of Basketball with the finesse of Soccer. We typically play with teams of 13 a side, on a field that is slightly bigger than a Soccer pitch. Check out the links below for more information on the game.
