So what's on the agenda now that the Colorado Irish Festival is over and The Celtic Tavern are the declared winners of the Spring Pub League?  Well now, we have a variety of offerings to keep ya busy until the big weekend in September!

The Ladies Gaelic Footballers are looking for players to come out to San Diego for a 7's tournament on August 7th.  Can't beat San Diego in August!  There could be some beach time included!  Contact Ms. Cassidi Gross if you're interested!

And we have the massive good time at the Gaels Annual Golf Event also on August 7th

Sunday, August 15th, will be the Denver Gaels Family Day tentatively scheduled for 3pm, location TBD.  The Irish think they're going to beat the Americans in a little game of softball.  To register to play, email gaelssoftball@yahoo.com - there's limited space on the teams, please specify if you're registering to play on the winning American's side or the losing Irish side.

And don't forget to pay for your Denver Gaels Membership! This benefits the club and the players.

Welcome to The Denver Gaels GAA Club

Keep up to date with the latest Denver Gaels sporting news and other Celtic events along the Front Range at the Celtic Connection [Ph: 303 777 0502 to subscribe].

The Denver Gaels, part of the North American County Board, is an Irish Sports club with members from all over the Denver Metro area and all along the Front Range. We currently have 4 teams playing - Mens Football, Hurling, Ladies Football and Youths Football - and we are making great progress developing a camogie team for 2008. The club has been existence for over 10 years and continues to grow in strength, recruiting more and more Americans wanting to try sports completely different to anything they may have tried before.....and to enjoy a social life with a distinctly Irish flavor.

In 2005 in the NACB area, there were 110 adult clubs and 14 Youth clubs playing Football, Hurling or Camogie in the US outside New York City. These clubs participated in Divisional Championship competitions to qualify for the North American Finals in their respective sport and grade of competition. As of 2005, Gaelic games were being organized and played in over 30 cities across the US, and The Denver Gaels are proud of the accomplishments of all of our teams and players.

Find out more about Irish culture through traditional Irish Sports - join us on the pitch and in the pub.  You'll be welcomed with open arms in the spirit of true Irish hospitality.

The Denver Gaels is a non-profit organization
